Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Valley Christian was the 3-1 winner over Mary Walker when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Valley Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 16-25, 25-15, 21-25, 15-10.

Valley Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Mary Walker, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Valley Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Wellpinit at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mary Walker will take on rival Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
