Football Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Centerville was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by the Jeanerette Tigers 56-12. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Tigers are ranked 115th).

Although Centerville took the loss, they still got scores from Graham Naquin and Reginald George.

Centerville's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Jeanerette, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Centerville will take on Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jeanerette, they will face off against St. Martinville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
