Volleyball Recap: Northeast Jones Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northeast Jones lost against Vancleave on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northeast Jones started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 25-15, 25-12, 25-19.

Northeast Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Vancleave, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northeast Jones is set to face off against their familiar foe Stone at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Vancleave will challenge rival East Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
