Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Shores Christian Takes a Loss

Atlantic Shores Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the StoneBridge Cavaliers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-8.

Lily Vuyovich paced Atlantic Shores Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Vuyovich got some help from Bethany Ligon and her five assists.

Libbie Plumlee was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and two aces.

Atlantic Shores Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for StoneBridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 31-0.

Atlantic Shores Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Broadwater Academy on the 17th. As for StoneBridge, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Greenbrier Christian Academy on the 17th.
