Soccer Recap: Ledford Comes Up Short

Ledford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Central Davidson Spartans, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central Davidson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

Ledford's goal came courtesy of Gracie Johnson, who's now up to ten this season.

Ledford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Central Davidson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5-3.

Ledford didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Asheboro on the 5th. As for Central Davidson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against North Davidson on the 5th.
