Soccer Preview: Copper Canyon vs. Washington
The Copper Canyon Aztecs will take on the Washington Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Copper Canyon is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Sierra Linda just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Aztecs got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.
Jonathan Hernandez Ramirez and Anthony Ortiz scored all three of Copper Canyon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.
