Volleyball Game Preview: New Kent Trojans vs. York Falcons + How To Watch

The New Kent Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the York Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Kent will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Monday, New Kent earned a 3-1 victory over Smithfield.

New Kent walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 22-25, 29-27, 25-12.

New Kent can attribute much of their success to Desirae Stowe, who had 17 assists and 11 digs, and Katelynn Moore, who had eight digs and two assists. Those eight digs gave Moore a new career-high.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for York, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Gloucester on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Dukes: they've now won three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-18.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-9. As for New Kent, their record is now 12-3.

Everything went New Kent's way against York in their previous meeting back in September, as New Kent made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
