The Clinton Dragons pushed their score all the way to 69 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Riverview Sarasota by a score of 72-69. Clinton has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverview Sarasota to victory, but perhaps none more so than Susan Lowther, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Lowther's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Guy, who scored 18 points.
Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Riverview Sarasota, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.
