Basketball Game Preview: Saratoga Central Catholic Saints vs. Stillwater Warriors

Saratoga Central Catholic is 0-10 against Stillwater since January of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Saratoga Central Catholic Saints will look to defend their home court against the Stillwater Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

Two weeks ago, Saratoga Central Catholic had to suffer through a 80-35 loss at the hands of Greenwich. The contest marked the Saints' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Stillwater had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 66-31 stomp they got against the Black Bears. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 24 points or more this season.

Saratoga Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Stillwater, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Saratoga Central Catholic was dealt a bruising 86-41 defeat at the hands of Stillwater when the teams last played back in January of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Saratoga Central Catholic was down 43-21.
