Volleyball Game Preview: Clover Blue Eagles vs. Boiling Springs Bulldogs

The Clover Blue Eagles will head out to square off against the Boiling Springs Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Clover is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Ridge View by a score of 3-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 21-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Boiling Springs beat James F. Byrnes 3-1 last Thursday.

Boiling Springs walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 15-25, 25-23.

Clover's record is now 12-19. As for Boiling Springs, their record now sits at 21-8.

Clover came up short against Boiling Springs in their previous matchup back in August, falling 2-0. Can the Blue Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
