The Langley Saxons will face off against the Woodson Cavaliers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Langley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Woodson will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Langley extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Saxons walked away with a 3-1 win over Centreville. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Langley were the better team in the second half.

Holly Murphy and Corinne Fisher scored all three of Langley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Woodson had taken Robinson down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Cavaliers lost 4-0 to the Rams. Woodson have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Langley's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Woodson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Langley beat Woodson by a goal when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-2. Will the Saxons repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
