Soccer Game Preview: Marion vs. East Clarendon

The Marion Swamp Foxes will head out on the road to face off against the East Clarendon Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

East Clarendon better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Marion's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Marion really gets things going. The Swamp Foxes were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Wolverines. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Marion considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

They hit East Clarendon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michael Mozeak (2), Diego Herrera, and Kelechi Kamsiyochukwu.

Marion is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-15 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for East Clarendon, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.
