 Franklin Central lost against Zionsville last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Franklin Central Flashes fell  9-5 to the Zionsville Eagles. Franklin Central has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Ty Horvath was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.  Brian Lockhart was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 On Zionsville's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jackson Tielker, who  went 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Tyler Hughes, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs.
 Franklin Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Zionsville, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season.
 Franklin Central will head out on the road to  square off against  Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Franklin Central has given up an average of 6.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Zionsville, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Kokomo at 6:00  p.m. Kokomo is coming into the  contest with four straight  losses on the road,  meaning Zionsville will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
