Game recap: North Stafford High School Football Team bests Tuscarora

LEESBURG, Va. - The defense did their part on the scoring end for for North Stafford (Stafford, Va.) on Saturday, totaling 20 points as the Wolverines defeated Tuscarora (Leesburg, Va.) 39-20.

After taking the lead on a defensive touchdown in the first quarter, the Wolverines were up 21-6 at the half.

North Stafford grew its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. NS scored two times in the third, including once on a rushing touchdown.

The defeat comes as a step back for Tuscarora, who notched a 35-27 victory over Mount Vernon in its previous outing. The win brought North Stafford's winning streak to three games.
