Baseball Recap: Buckhannon-Upshur Takes a Loss

Buckhannon-Upshur lost against Morgantown back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buccaneers came up short against the Mohigans, falling 12-2.

Buckhannon-Upshur saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Mason, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Buckhannon-Upshur has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Morgantown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

Buckhannon-Upshur has already played their next game, an 8-5 loss against Point Pleasant on the 23rd. As for Morgantown, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-4 victory against The Linsly School on the 23rd.
