Basketball Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence and Sevastopol squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Florence had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 50-31 to the Sevastopol Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Pioneers are ranked 103rd).

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Sevastopol, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Florence nor Sevastopol have any future games scheduled.
