Softball Recap: Seymour Eagles vs. Bearden Bulldogs
Seymour lost against Bearden back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell 8-4 to the Bulldogs. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.
Landry Terry was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Seymour's record now sits at 6-11. As for Bearden, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seymour will venture away from home to face off against Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Green Hornets have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Bearden, they will head out on the road to challenge Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
