Flag Football Recap: El Segundo Takes a Loss

After flying high against South last Thursday, El Segundo came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 21-0 to the Torrance Tartars on Friday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

El Segundo's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Torrance, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. El Segundo will head out to face off against West at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Torrance, they will venture away from home to challenge North at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Saxons' defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so the Tartars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
