Basketball Game Preview: St. Michael Cardinals vs. Many Farms Lobos + How To Watch

The St. Michael Cardinals will head out to face off against the Many Farms Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While Cardinals fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They walked away with a 59-52 win over Valley on Tuesday.

Logan Belgarde and Ryan Legah were among the main playmakers for St. Michael as the former went 5-for-11 on his way to 16 points and eight boards and the latter posted 18 points and five steals. Those 16 points gave Belgarde a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Deshawn Smith, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Many Farms not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since January 23rd (when they won 71-40). They were the clear victors by a 58-34 margin over Greyhills Academy. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

St. Michael couldn't quite finish off Many Farms in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 57-54. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
