Soccer Recap: Caston Takes a Loss

Caston and Tippecanoe Valley pushed the score to 9-0 the last time they played Tippecanoe Valley, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Comets fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Caston in their meetings with Tippecanoe Valley: they've now lost three in a row.

Caston's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Tippecanoe Valley, their win bumped their record up to 2-7-1.

Coming up, Caston is taking a road trip to take on Lakeland Christian Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Lakeland Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Caston surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they will host Argos at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
