Basketball Recap: Garrison Comes Up Short

If Garrison was riding high fresh off their 64-44 takedown of Elysian Fields last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Garrison Bulldogs fell to the Tenaha Tigers 50-46. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1098th, while the Tigers are ranked 354th).

Garrison's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Tenaha, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Garrison will challenge Joaquin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tenaha, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tenaha Tigers take on the Gary Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
