Pendleton County extends road winning streak to three

Recap: Pendleton County Wildcat vs. Pocahontas County Warriors

The Pendleton County Wildcat won the last time they faced the Pocahontas County Warriors , and things went their way on Saturday too. Pendleton County came out on top against Pocahontas County by a score of 47-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pendleton County.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Allyson Taylor, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Taylor has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Calli Propst, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Pendleton County's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-12. As for Pocahontas County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Pendleton County will head out on the road to face off against Tucker County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tucker Countypresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pendleton County in West Virginia (Tucker County is ranked 30th, while Pendleton County is ranked 85th). As for Pocahontas County, they will be playing at home against Richwood at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Pocahontas County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Saturday.
