Football Recap: Faith Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 48 points the game before, Faith Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They had to suffer through a 49-7 loss at the hands of the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

St. Paul's Episcopal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hayden Fincher, who threw for 233 yards and four TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes. Fincher has been hot recently, having posted four or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Jimbo Boteler was in the mix as well, providing St. Paul's Episcopal with two scores.

Faith Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Academy will host Williamson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they will welcome Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
