Soccer Game Preview: Jupiter Christian vs. Vero Beach

The Jupiter Christian Eagles will take on the Vero Beach Indians at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Jupiter Christian didn't have quite enough to beat South Fork and fell 3-2.

Josh Gould and Lucas Maxim scored both of Jupiter Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Vero Beach's offense. They came up short against Benjamin on Friday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 20th).

Vero Beach's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-2. As for Jupiter Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2.
