Baseball Recap: Van Buren County Comes Up Short

Van Buren County lost against South Pittsburg on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 6-5.

Van Buren County's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for South Pittsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-16 record this season.

While Van Buren County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
