Softball Recap: University School of Jackson Comes Up Short

University School of Jackson had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 11-5 to the Gallatin Green Wave.

University School of Jackson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Polk, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another was Kinsley Brady, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Gallatin now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, University School of Jackson will host Chester County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gallatin, they will square off against Buckhorn at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gallatin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
