After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Upper Lake, Fort Bragg was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Lower Lake Trojans 3-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

Fort Bragg wouldn't go down easily and took Lower Lake into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 19-25, 16-25, 15-10.

Halle Garcia paced Fort Bragg's offense, picking up 16 kills. Garcia got some help from Katelyn Burbeck and her 44 assists. Garcia was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Fort Bragg's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for Lower Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Coming up, Fort Bragg will square off against Clear Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Timberwolves are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lower Lake, they will challenge Middletown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
