            Football Recap: Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison vs. New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners        
        
		
        
        
            Oklahoma School for the Deaf was the  51-24 winner over New Mexico School for the Deaf when they last played one another  back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bison took a hard  63-45 fall against the Roadrunners on Saturday.
  Santiago Lopez was  his usual excellent self, picking up 113 receiving yards and three  scores, while also rushing for 67 yards and a pair of  TDs on only six carries for New Mexico School for the Deaf. Lopez also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  two  sacks and making 17 total tackles.  Tyler Todorovic was another key player, throwing for 218 yards and five  touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oklahoma School for the Deaf will square off against California School for the Deaf at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, they will venture away from home to  square off against Grady  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Roadrunners will need to watch out since the Bronchos have now posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season.
