Cardozo has gone 3-0 against Edison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Cardozo Judges will head out on the road to face off against Edison at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Cardozo earned a 51-40 win over Springfield Gardens.

Meanwhile, Edison couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 80-31 blowout they got against Jamaica. Given Edison's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Jamaica is ranked 548th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cardozo has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything came up roses for Cardozo against Edison in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, as the team secured a 91-48 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cardozo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
