Soccer Game Preview: Summit Preparatory vs. Design Tech

The Summit Preparatory Huskies will head out to take on the Design Tech Dragons at 8:15 p.m. on Monday. Summit Preparatory will be strutting in after a victory while Design Tech will be coming in after a defeat.

Summit Preparatory is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They won by a goal and slipped past The Nueva School 5-4. Considering Summit Preparatory's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Design Tech played against Latino College Preparatory Academy on Wednesday and lost via forfeit.

Design Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Summit Preparatory, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-1.

Summit Preparatory came out on top in a nail-biter against Design Tech when the teams last played on January 14th, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
