Newton is a perfect 3-0 against Hamilton County since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on the Foxes at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Newton turned things around against Paris on Thursday. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Hamilton County posted their closest victory since September 10th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Civic Memorial 2-1.

Hamilton County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Newton's record is now 20-15. As for Hamilton County, their record now sits at 17-18.

Newton was able to grind out a solid win over Hamilton County when the teams last played back in October of 2019, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
