Baseball Recap: Sotomayor Gets the Win

Sotomayor's tournament run continued when they took on Sterling on Thursday. The Sotomayor WILDCATS had just enough and edged out the Sterling Rangers 3-2.

Sotomayor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wes Guardiola, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Evan Fine also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Sotomayor's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sterling, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Sotomayor and Sterling will both be playing Steele the next time they take the field. Sterling will head out to face Steele at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Sotomayor will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
