Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Kimball Jaguars, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 25-22.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Kimball, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lincoln will face off against rival Lodi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kimball is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
