Football Recap: Conrad Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Conrad can now relate to. They were beaten by the Florence-Carlton Falcons 42-0 on Friday. The Cowboys' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Evan Walter threw for 38 yards. Carsen Sullivan was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards. On the ground, Tegan Jones rushed for 56 yards.

Florence-Carlton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brody Duchien out in front who threw for 182 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Mattix Chase helped Duchien out on the ground, rushing for 108 yards and one score on only five carries.

Conrad's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Florence-Carlton, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Conrad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Florence-Carlton, they will square off against Three Forks at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
