Basketball Recap: Ripley Takes a Loss

Ripley was the 73-68 winner over Memphis Home Education Association when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The Ripley Tigers lost to Memphis Home Education Association at home by a 64-46 margin on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while Memphis Home Education Association are ranked 42nd).

Ripley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Memphis Home Education Association, their win bumped their record up to 23-6.

Ripley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-50 loss against Milan on the 7th. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they have also already played their next contest, a 68-57 defeat against Munford on the 7th.
