Recap: Southwestern Warriors vs. West Jessamine Colts
The Southwestern Warriors won the last time they faced the West Jessamine Colts, and things went their way on Saturday too. Southwestern skirted past West Jessamine 55-52. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southwestern.
Jessalyn Flynn was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 17 points. Jordy McDonald was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 5 assists.
Southwestern now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Jessamine, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Southwestern will be playing in front of their home fans against South Laurel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Jessamine, they will face off against Simon Kenton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
