Salt Fork's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cissna Park Timberwolves a 22-0 shutout. The Storm might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Salt Fork pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Cissna Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salt Fork will take on Villa Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cissna Park, they will challenge Hoopeston at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
