Basketball Recap: Boulder Creek Comes Up Short

Boulder Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 58-50 to the Desert Vista Thunder. The contest was a 29-29 toss-up at halftime, but the Jaguars couldn't quite close it out.

Boulder Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Desert Vista, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Boulder Creek will head out to face off against Tolleson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Desert Vista, they will venture away from home to challenge Pinnacle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Thunder will be up against the Pioneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.78 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
