Middletown made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fort Bragg, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Timberwolves on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Middletown now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Fort Bragg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middletown will host Kelseyville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Bragg, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cloverdale at 4:00 p.m. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Timberwolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
