Basketball Recap: Archbishop Molloy Takes a Loss

Archbishop Molloy played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders 100-46. The Stanners have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Archbishop Stepinac got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adonis Ratliff out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Ratliff's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jasiah Jervis, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points and seven assists.

Archbishop Molloy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Archbishop Stepinac, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

Archbishop Molloy is taking a road trip to take on Christ the King at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Archbishop Stepinac, they will face off against Mt. St. Michael Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
