Baseball Recap: Sauk Prairie Find Success

While Sauk Prairie's win against Mauston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won by a run and slipped past the Golden Eagles 3-2. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Eagles on Thursday, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Sauk Prairie and bumps their season record up to 14-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Mauston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Sauk Prairie will challenge Wisconsin Dells on Tuesday. The Chiefs will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Mauston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
