De Soto lost against Washburn Rural back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blues.

De Soto's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Washburn Rural, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. De Soto will welcome Shawnee Heights on Tuesday. Shawnee Heights will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something De Soto surely won't give up without a fight. As for Washburn Rural, they will face off against Hayden on Thursday.
