Baseball Recap: Saint Andrew's Extends Winning Streak to Three

Saint Andrew got themselves on the board against NSU University on Friday, but NSU University never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Sharks. This was a revenge game for the Scots: when they faced off against the Sharks back in February, they had to take a 15-2 defeat.

Saint Andrew's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Michael Tight, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

The victory (which was Saint Andrew's third in a row) raised their record to 15-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for NSU University, they moved to 19-3 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Coming up, Saint Andrew's will be taking part in a tournament against North Broward Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for NSU University, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
