Basketball Recap: Beaufort Academy Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Beaufort Academy Eagles came up short against the Charleston Math & Science Riptide and fell 27-14.

Leading Charleston Math & Science to victory were Cynay Taylor and Ellis Britt. Taylor posted nine points, while Britt earned six points. Those nine points gave Taylor a new career-high.

Beaufort Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Charleston Math & Science, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaufort Academy will host Coastal HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for Charleston Math & Science, they will welcome Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
