It was a good run, but Gowanda/Pine Valley Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 36-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Newfane.

Gowanda/Pine Valley Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Newfane, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
