Volleyball Recap: Mills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mills was the 3-0 winner over El Camino when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Colts by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Mills took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 24-26, 26-24, 15-12.

Despite the defeat, Mills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kara Da Luz had 34 assists and nine digs. Those 34 assists set a new season-high mark for Da Luz. Another player making a difference was Noelle Young, who had ten digs and four aces.

Mills' loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for El Camino, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mills will take on rival Capuchino at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, El Camino is set to face off against their familiar foe South San Francisco at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
