It was a Battle of the Birds when George Jenkins duked it out with Fleming Island on Saturday. The Eagles came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Rhianna Burns paced George Jenkins' offense, picking up 14 kills. Burns got some help from Aubrey Bailey and her 13 assists. Olivia Cleveland controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

George Jenkins' victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Fleming Island, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 16-5 record.

George Jenkins has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Buchholz on the 4th. As for Fleming Island, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lake Howell on the 4th.
