Baseball Recap: William Floyd Takes a Loss

William Floyd lost against Walt Whitman last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colonials fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The Colonials have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

William Floyd's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Walt Whitman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

William Floyd will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brentwood at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Walt Whitman, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-4 defeat against Shoreham-Wading River on the 14th.
