Volleyball Game Preview: Cypress Bay Lightning vs. Palmetto Panthers

The Cypress Bay Lightning will head out on the road to challenge the Palmetto Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cypress Bay will be strutting in after a win while Palmetto will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Cypress Bay earned a 3-1 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas. The Lightning haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

While Cypress Bay might've won, it sure wasn't easy: St. Thomas Aquinas scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Palmetto came up short against True North Classical Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Cypress Bay's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Palmetto, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
