Volleyball Recap: Indian Creek Gets the Win

Indian Creek won the last time they faced Lawrence Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Braves came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0.

Despite the defeat, Lawrence Central saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lillian Dailey had six digs and six aces. Dailey is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Indian Creek's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Lawrence Central, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Looking ahead, Indian Creek will be playing at home against Speedway at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The Braves are facing the Sparkplugs at the right time seeing as the Sparkplugs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lawrence Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Greenfield-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
